Reasons to love it – and reasons not to

Warm gestures like wine and snacks made my stay delightful! The breakfast was fresh and exceptional. David and Shona's hospitality truly created a welcoming atmosphere.

Tight parking can be a hassle! Noise from traffic may disturb light sleepers in certain rooms, impacting the overall experience.

Spacious room, cozy lounge, and fresh milk available made us feel right at home.

The Superior Family Room offered immaculate decor and comfort, but tight parking proved challenging during peak hours. Loved the fresh breakfast options and the warm hospitality.

Stunning rooms and an exceptional breakfast experience

I recently stayed in the Superior Family Room and was blown away by the immaculate decor and spaciousness. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a wide range of options that catered to everyone's taste, making it a highlight of my stay. David's warmth and willingness to help added a personal touch, truly making it feel like a home away from home. The only downside was the tight parking situation, which could be a bit tricky for larger vehicles.

Had a fab time with friends! The place had a loving family feel, and the breakfast was great. We enjoyed the nearby golf courses like Belleisle, Lochgreen, and Darley, all in a few miles. Plus, we were able to catch the Scottish Grand National and Ayr Gold Cup. Definitely recommend this spot!

The only slight downside was that the stairs were a bit challenging, especially the last narrow two flights, but it did add a bit of humor to our stay.

Just a commendable fit for a short break in Ayr with incredible value for money. The room was clean, and they offered fresh milk for tea, which was a nice touch. If you're in a rush, grab breakfast at a nearby café for something quick.

Bright, nicely decorated room with a comfy bed and an excellent breakfast made fresh to order. While parking out front was a bit tight, there was ample street parking nearby. I found the noise from traffic noticeable at times, especially at the front, but it quieted down overnight. a pleasant stay with thoughtful touches from the owners.

Ideal choice for a hurried visit in Ayr with brilliant value for money. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the homemade pastries. Try to secure parking a bit earlier since it can fill up fast.

the beechwood is just a short walk from the railway station, which is super convenient for trips to glasgow. the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even better. breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection including freshly cooked options that really hit the spot.

Had a lovely stay with a super comfy bed and a delicious breakfast cooked fresh just for us. The cozy lounge and the DVD collection were perfect for relaxing after a day out. The shower could be a bit roomier, but that didn't take away from our great time! 😊
